Berry hill farm is one of the worst experiences I've had. Went there to pick fruit and have a nice day out. I was met by two of the rudest people I have ever met. Looking at the farm, it has not been maintained or looked after at all. There was barely any fruit to pick, and most of the trees were dead. The two owners there seemed like they just want to make a lot of money and I felt like they were forcing me to pick my body weight in apples. Would not recommend this place to anyone at all! If you are looking for a fun family trip or nice fruit to eat, then stay well clear of this place.

Went to berryhill farm with the family, hoping to have a nice day picking fruit. Walked into the shop to ask a few questions on where to pick fruit and prices, we were met by an elderly rude couple with a very bad attitide. We were thinking of leaving, but still wanted to give the place a chance because we had been there before years ago. We walked through the apple fields, which were not maintained at all, and most of the apples were rotton if not dead. We managed to pick some of the apples that were not rotton and then proceeded back to the shop to pay, as there was no point continuing to walk around the fields as most of the trees were dead. Once we reached back to the shop, we were met by an elderly woman behind the till who said we had not picked enough fruit (after counting how many of us there were (7 of us including a couple of children)). We gave her our bag of apples to weigh, the cost of the apples were £1.50 according to their pricing scheme. However, the elderly man demanded that we pay him £10 and said "i am charging you as this is a business and not a theme park". We paid him the money and got out of there as fast as we could. I would highly warn anyone thinking of going there to stay as far away from this place as possible. If i could give this place less than one star i would. I would even say the elderly couple frightended the children and other members of the group.
